London Golf Club prides itself on its mission to continually innovate, improve and impress. From the moment you pass through the gates and wind your way down the one mile drive between the rolling fairways of the Jack Nicklaus designed courses, you know you have arrived somewhere special. The perfect balance between technical excellence and effortless comfort means you can relax and enjoy stylish surroundings in a world attended to by a courteous and professional team. As previous host of the 2008 and 2009 European Open, the bar has been set high and guests can enjoy the same fantastic clubhouse environment, exceptional standard of course maintenance, first class practice facilities and a halfway hut on the international course.
A creation of the Jack Nicklaus’ Golden Bear Design Team, the International Course is pure downland. Long grasses swish in an ever changing breeze. Naturally firmer and quick undulating fairways force links-style golf, while short holes over water provide dramatic punctuation. This course carries the essence of Jack Nicklaus encouraging you to visualise each and every shot. Previously host to the London Seniors Masters and proudly home of 2010 Regional Open Qualifying, you can be assured that this is a challenging test of golf for any player. Tricky decisions have to be made for example, on the 13th par 5 do you take it on in 2 shots over the water to reach the green or do you go for par?
