Glossop & District Golf Club is situated in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, it is located 15 miles outside of Manchester. With the stunning back drop of the Peak District it makes for some magnificent views as you stroll round this picturesque golf course. This moorland links provides tests for all aspects of one’s game. It is a short course by modern day standards but with tight fairways and tricky greens, you can rack up some high numbers if your game isn’t quite there on the day. The greens around Glossop & District Golf Club are well protected with greenside bunkers and has many greenside catchment areas should you hit your approach offline.
Glossop & District Golf Club is traditionally a 9 hole course, however it caters for this by having more than one green for various holes, 11 in total (the 5th/14th and 6th/15th are played to different greens) and a number of different tee boxes to make each 9 interesting.
Glossop & District Golf Club is not an easy walk, it can be quite hilly in parts so be prepared for a number of climbs as you make your way around this layout but with each climb culminating in some fantastic views from each peak.
